# Partner Earnings

> Partnering with Razorpay helps you offer your customers a complete suite of payments solutions and get rewarded for it in the form of earnings.

As a partner, you can resell Razorpay payment solutions to merchants at a higher rate. The difference between Razorpay Fee and your sales price is your earnings.

Therefore, Partner Earnings = Sales Price set for Merchant - Razorpay Fees

Let us assume you are Acme Corporation, an ERP solution provider for restaurants. You work with various restaurants and resell Razorpay payment gateway to them, to accept digital payments from online food-ordering patrons.

In Razorpay parlance, you are the Partner, the restaurant is the Merchant and the patron is the customer.

## Partner | Merchant | Customer

`Acme Corporation` | `ABC Restaurant` | `Gaurav Kumar` (Patron)

When Gaurav Kumar orders food online from ABC Restaurant and pays the restaurant bill via Razorpay Gateway, you receive a percentage of the transaction value.

## How it Works

Transaction Discount Rate (TDR) is the sales price you quote to merchants.
TDR = Razorpay Fee + Partner Earnings
Let's assume Razorpay Transaction Debit Rate = 2%

Acme can partner with Razorpay to identify pricing plans that will maximize their earnings.

Acme's Partner Earnings Plan examples:

### Plan A

## TDR | Razorpay Fees | Partner Earnings

2% | 1.9% | 0.1%

**Total Earnings for Partner = Partner Earnings = 0.1%.**

Therefore, for a transaction amount of ₹1000, the **Partner Earnings is (₹1000 \* 0.1%) = ₹1.**

### Plan B

## TDR | Razorpay Fees | Partner Earnings | Service Charges

2% | 1.9% | 0.1% | 0.4%

**Total Earnings for Partner = Partner Earnings + Service Charges**

Therefore, for a transaction amount of ₹1000, the **Partner Earnings is (₹1000 \* 0.1%) + (₹1000 \* 0.4%) = ₹5.**
