# FPX

> Using FPX, you can seamlessly accept online payments from your customers through their preferred Malaysian bank. FPX is facilitated by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), the Central Bank of Malaysia, and is backed by 11 other major financial institutions that are members of the PayNet Group.

With nearly 90 million transactions recorded in 2018 alone, FPX is one of Malaysia's most trusted and widely used online payment methods. It offers merchants and customers a secure and convenient payment solution.

## Advantages

1. **Multiple Bank Options**: FPX supports transactions from a wide range of major banks in Malaysia, providing users with the flexibility to choose their preferred bank for payments.

2. **Secure Transactions**: FPX ensures that users' financial information is protected through encryption and multi-factor authentication.

3. **No Card Information Required**: With FPX, users can make payments without the need to enter sensitive card details online, minimising the risk associated with cyber threats and enhancing overall transaction security.

## Enable FPX from the Dashboard

Follow the steps to enable FPX:

    Go to **Payment methods** and click the enable button next to FPX.

## Payment Flow

Given below is the payment flow for FPX at Razorpay Curlec checkout:

    They choose the bank and are redirected to the bank's portal.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Step 3">
    They enter their banking credentials and complete the authorisation process.

    Upon payment completion, the customer receives a UI notification and is redirected to your website or app.
